The Texas State Board of Education (SBOE) announced that Agile Mind, is now the only approved provider of comprehensive mathematics curriculum, has been approved for Grade 6 math through Algebra II. Texas schools that choose Agile Mind programs will now qualify for a state funded incentive of $40 per student per academic year, which more than covers the cost of purchasing them.

Agile Mind’s Texas materials achieved 100% alignment with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) and English Language Proficiency Standards (ELPS), also earning top scores across all criteria in the new Instructional Materials Review and Approval (IMRA) process. Agile Mind is the only publisher of middle and high school mathematics to receive approval for all six grades.

“The rigorous IMRA process ensures every school in Texas can have access to high-quality materials that empower Texas educators to help many more students excel in math,” said Linda Chaput, CEO and Founder of Agile Mind. “We and our authors at The Charles A. Dana Center at the University of Texas at Austin are gratified to be approved by the SBOE at this crucial time for math achievement in our state and our nation.”
